The Blog and Website Promotion Resource List
Want more hits on your Blog? The following is a list of social bookmarking sites. Social bookmarking websites can drive targeted traffic to your own Blog/Website - usually via a link to an article/feature of interest you have. If the community at one of these sites likes what you have posted, then they can (usually) choose to promote it, thus making it more likely to be read by the rest of the community. Know any others? I have included brief descriptions below each link
A scoical bookmarking site for anything related to Estate Agency - Articles, Agents, Inspectors, Property Mangagers etc. Excellent if your line of work or website/blog is related to it. If not, dont bother.
A Digg style site for anything to do with cars. If thats your thing then it should give you a boost.
Another Digg style site, this time for anything sports related. Football (soccer), Tennis, NBA, NFL, NHL, etc…
If you like something here, Mark it! For latest software releases or anything that has a connection with software. Software Blog? This sites for you (although fairly new and as such quite low traffic)
As the site says “Our mission is to match blogs with readers! If you’re searching for a blog, you can tagsurf to blogs that match your interest. If you’re a blogger -add you blog here and make sure to include a good description” - Worth a try. Probably
A news related social site. If you Blog news, try submitting links to it here and you might just see that traffic increase you are after
Another news site. Big, popular, a lot of categories. Again, a great promotion tool for your news site.
The granddaddy of all social bookmarking sites. Have a good article/program/anything at all of interest? Let them know here and who knows, you could receive a massive boost from the community. But probably not as there’s a lot of competition there. Give it a go.
An open source community, for software and technology. If you like something you see, you Kick It! (nothing like Digg!).
A simple voting system allows you to promote a software/technology comment that you like.
For any news that is Green (bio-friendly, not the colour). Hugg what you like, promote what you like.

If you make games, freeware or otherwise, this a very useful place to promote it.
